Especially for mechanical, chemical filtration and for the colonization of aerobic bacteria of the upper part of the filter, a current with relatively rapid speed is an asset. Conversely, a slower current in the lower part of the filter promotes an optimal development of anaerobic bacteria, which play an essential role for biological filtration.

Juwel Bioflow filters are equipped with a highly effective and silent Eccoflow circulation pump, the power of which has been adapted to the size of the filtration system according to scientific criteria. Bioflow filters are also prepared to accommodate Juwel heaters , which are thus optimally integrated into the water circuit and provide a regular distribution of heat in all areas of your aquarium.

High quality filtering environments

Each Bioflow filter system has five high -quality filter materials:
