Schismatoglottis Prietoi can look like Anubias, with elliptical leaves 3 to 8 cm long. The growth is however faster and it grows better planted in the lower layer, where it readily produces runners.

It is a little demanding and easy plant, which thrives very well in most aquariums, even in case of very low light. Schismatoglottis Prietoi naturally grows in the rivers of the Philippines, where it often appears in large dense groups.
