This red variant of Cryptocoryne undulata naturally grows in Sri Lankan rivers.
An easy plant for the aquarium, it thrives in a variety of conditions.
The plant's appearance partly depends on these conditions. Limited light and fertilizer will make it relatively long, brownish-green, and slow-growing.
Stronger lighting, a good amount of available nutrients, and CO2 supplementation will make it grow faster with shorter, reddish-brown leaves.
