Plankton Reactor. Culture Unit for Zooplankton

Many marine and freshwater zooplankton species can be cultured in the plankton reactor. Zooplankton is fed with micro-algae from the "plankton light reactor". Zooplankton has enormous growth potential. With optimal nutrition from algae, the number of rotifers (Brachionus) can double in four days. Brachionus are the ideal food for the growth of many fish larvae and marine invertebrates. Consists of: plankton reactor approx. 2.5 litres (0.65 gallons); wall mount; connections for air pump.
