Dupla Worm X

All marine aquariums are home to polychaete worms.
Most of them live hidden and often only show themselves at night or when you feed your fish and corals.
If corals or anthozoans show bite marks, it is possible that they have been attacked by polychaetes.
In that case, you should not delay and grab a flashlight to examine the aquarium at night.
And if you discover a few of these annoying little worms right away, it is better to remove them from the aquarium before they can cause even more damage.
It is generally not advisable to try to catch the worms with tweezers, as they are often cut in half - and each part can develop into a new worm.
Furthermore, you should absolutely avoid handling polychaete worms with your bare hands, as the small "bristles" can cause skin irritations that can persist for several days.
The simplest and most effective way to catch these worms is to use a polychaete trap.
