EHEIM air diffuser

Aquariums with few plants, coldwater and saltwater aquariums or fish breeding all require a good oxygen supply. Likewise, when a cover or lighting reduces the air space above the water surface, you must provide additional air, otherwise oxygen will be consumed too quickly.

The EHEIM diffuser supplies "fresh" air from outside which regularly enriches the oxygen level of the water.

This small device is mounted against the glass at the end of the discharge pipe in such a way that you have an obtuse injection angle, simultaneously creating good water movement. The diffuser's air hose is placed outside the aquarium. Using the pressure regulating clamp, you can dose the amount of air drawn in according to your needs. The device thus mixes the supplied air with the incoming water, which is injected by the filter pressure below the water surface.
