JBL PROFLORA Co2 Advanced Set V
JBL PROFLORA Co2 Advanced Set V
JBL PROFLORA CO2 ADVANCED SET V
Complete CO2 fertilization kit, with 2 pressure gauges and night shut-off, WITHOUT CYLINDER, for vigorous and beautiful aquarium plants.
- CO2 fertilization system with solenoid valve for night shut-off, for optimal supply to all freshwater aquarium plants from 40 to 600 l, thus preventing algae.
- Easy to install: screw the pressure reducer with mounted solenoid valve onto the cylinder (not included), connect the hose to the bubble counter/non-return valve and the reactor. Connect the solenoid valve to a timer (not included), adjust the bubble count – done.
- For aquarists who already have a CO2 cylinder. No hose slippage thanks to screw-on hose connectors, non-return valve preventing water penetration into the cylinder.
- The correct CO2 concentration in the aquarium water is checked on the display of the supplied Permanent CO2/pH test and can be readjusted if necessary.
- Contents: pressure reducer with solenoid valve, 3 m hose, bubble counter with non-return valve, reactor and TAIFUN CO2 extension kit, Permanent CO2/pH test with reagents, 2 x 100 ml fertilizers, 1 x 10 ml daily fertilizer.
Aquarium Plant Food
Plants provide the aquarium with oxygen, which is vital for its inhabitants, they prevent the appearance of algae, eliminate harmful substances, offer animals hiding places and reduce pathogenic germs. The JBL fertilization system supplies plants with CO2, their main nutrient, via the water. Plants absorb it and, with the help of light, convert it into sugar and oxygen during photosynthesis.
Easy Installation
The system is ready to connect, with the exception of the CO2 cylinder, which is not included in the kit. Screw the pressure reducer onto the CO2 cylinder and connect it via the hose from the solenoid valve to the bubble counter (including non-return valve), then to the reactor in the aquarium. The CO2 thus enters the aquarium and is dissolved in the water by the reactor. The CO2 supply can be interrupted at night by the solenoid valve mounted in between (night shut-off: not supplied). The permanent CO2/pH test continuously displays the amount of CO2 dissolved in the water, which can be readjusted if necessary.
The range of a CO₂ system depends on several factors. The essential elements are carbonate hardness, the quantity and type of plants, and the strength of the water movement on the surface. A 500g cylinder that is not interrupted at night by a solenoid valve lasts approximately 4 months with the basic adjustment. Recyclable disposable CO2 cylinders can be re-purchased individually or in a more economical 3-pack.
The supplied pressure reducer is compatible with both JBL refillable cylinders (System M, thread type W21.8x1/14) and JBL disposable cylinders (System U, thread type M10x1).
