JBL PROFLORA CO2 Control

JBL PROFLORA CO2 Control

  • Regulates CO2 supply for perfect plant growth in the aquarium and an ideal pH for aquarium fish.
  • Connect the temperature probe, transformer, and pH electrode (not included), connect to the solenoid valve, enter the desired pH, or use the automatic program.
  • The touchscreen allows easy control through the menu. For automatic CO2 supply adjustment, measure and enter the carbonate hardness (KH).
  • The program calculates the ideal pH from the existing KH and pH and adds CO2 until the ideal pH is reached. It also displays the water temperature.
  • Contents: CO2 controller with touchscreen, wall mount, power supply, temperature probe + suction cup, connection cable for solenoid valve, test tube holder for calibration liquids.

Healthy fish thanks to optimal pH
The acid content determines the pH of the water. To keep fish and plants healthy, this pH must be constantly monitored and adjusted to current conditions.

Technical information
With temperature probe, modern touchscreen, probe control with each calibration, error diagnosis in case of failure, permanent display: current pH/setpoint, probe voltage, temperature, calibration reminder in d/h, solenoid valve status, measurement accuracy, setpoint adjustment: free selection or automatic calculation by auto pH, automatic temperature compensation for measurement and calibration, free hysteresis (deviation above or below the switching point), password lock, pH alarm (power alarm), temperature alarm (power and target alarm), selectable valve status, language choice: D/EN/F/NL/I/DK/E/P, reset function, universal power supply suitable for all common worldwide mains voltages.

Why a pH controller: To automate the CO2 supply, instead of using a timer for night shutdown, you can connect a CO2/pH controller (JBL PROFLORA pH-Control Touch). You must enter the carbonate hardness (KH) of the aquarium water once, and the computer will then calculate the appropriate pH, which will be adjusted by adding CO2. Then, the computer controls the solenoid valve and adds as much CO2 as necessary until the calculated or desired pH is reached. The solenoid valve is then closed and reopened so that the set pH remains stable. The pH of the water is measured via a pH electrode which IS NOT supplied in the kit and must be purchased separately. This ensures that you do not get an expired electrode in the kit, but always one directly from the factory! Instead of an automatic system, it is also possible to manually enter a pH, regardless of the KH.
