Sera Prefix filter

Pre-filter, biological filter or rapid filter for connection to pumps or an external filter

With the sera PrefiX filter, the filter volume of a downstream filter can be extended by up to 1.6 litres with two filter baskets that can be used flexibly. The non-powered filter can be used, for example, as a pre-filter for turbidity, as a rapid filter in the event of pollution or as a biological filter to increase the filter capacity of a small external filter.

The filter can be connected to a pump or an external filter using a 16/22 mm sera hose. It is also possible to connect several PrefiX filters in series. For fine-grained filter media, sera 1 or 2 filter media nets are recommended.
