Rotala wallichii is a demanding plant from Southeast Asia, which develops red tips if light conditions are good. Stems can reach 10 to 30 cm in height and approx. 5 cm in width.
It is best planted in groups. Rotala wallichii can be used in the background, midground, or foreground depending on the size of the aquarium, as it is easily trimmed. CO2 supplementation is recommended for optimal growth. Prefers soft and slightly acidic water.
